We’re delighted to share the details of our World Cup day on Tuesday 17th February. This event is to raise the awareness of girls and women’s rugby and we have been chosen by the RFU to host the Women’s rugby World Cup trophy at our ground from 2pm to 7pm. You can have your photo taken with the trophy and join in with all of the rugby activities on the day.
The planned activities for the day are:
2pm to 3pm - T1 Rugby (non contact) rugby sessions
3pm to 5pm - Fun rugby activities with Vigor Rugby (booking required… see QR code)
5pm to 6pm - Intro to rugby drills and games
6pm to 7pm - Wallsend RFC Sirens women’s team training session
Also appearing will be:
✅The Hellcats Cheerleader team with a display at 4pm.
✅Family fun and activities.
✅Light refreshments, teas and coffees.
✅Meet some of our Sirens women’s team.
✅Meet our women’s coaches.
