Women’s Wellness Gathering: Fibroids, Hormones & Pelvic Health

Bloom by Design: Women’s Wellness Gathering is an intimate community event designed to educate, connect, and support women and families navigating fibroids, hormonal health, pelvic floor care, and reproductive wellness.

Hosted by Bloom by Design in partnership with the Oregon Health Authority, this gathering blends education, conversation, and community healing. Attendees will hear from trusted medical and wellness practitioners, engage in meaningful dialogue, and gain tools and resources to better understand their bodies and health.

The program will feature conversations with experts in pelvic floor therapy, gynecologic care, and body-based healing, along with opportunities for audience questions and shared learning. Guests will also have time to explore self-care vendors, connect with practitioners, and participate in The Mixer by WKSocial, creating space for relaxed networking and community connection.

This gathering centers the experiences of Black and Brown women, who are disproportionately impacted by fibroids and reproductive health disparities, while welcoming all individuals seeking education, support, and collective care.

Our intention is to create a warm and empowering environment where women can learn, ask questions, share stories, and feel supported in their wellness journeys.

Bloom by Design: Encuentro de Bienestar para la Mujer es un evento comunitario íntimo diseñado para educar, conectar y apoyar a mujeres y familias que enfrentan fibromas, cambios hormonales, salud del piso pélvico y bienestar reproductivo.

Organizado por Bloom by Design en colaboración con la Oregon Health Authority, este encuentro combina educación, conversación y sanación comunitaria. Las personas asistentes escucharán a profesionales de confianza en salud y bienestar, participarán en conversaciones significativas y obtendrán herramientas y recursos para comprender mejor su cuerpo y su salud.

El programa incluirá conversaciones con expertas en terapia del piso pélvico, cuidado ginecológico y sanación corporal, además de oportunidades para hacer preguntas y compartir conocimientos. Las asistentes también podrán explorar vendedoras de autocuidado, conectarse con profesionales y participar en The Mixer by WKSocial, creando un espacio relajado para la conexión comunitaria.

Este encuentro centra las experiencias de mujeres Negras y de comunidades racializadas, quienes se ven desproporcionadamente afectadas por los fibromas y las desigualdades en la salud reproductiva, al mismo tiempo que da la bienvenida a todas las personas que buscan educación, apoyo y cuidado colectivo.

Nuestro objetivo es crear un espacio cálido y empoderador donde las mujeres puedan aprender, hacer preguntas, compartir experiencias y sentirse acompañadas en su camino hacia el bienestar.

WHY THIS CONVERSATION MATTERS

Fibroids affect up to 80% of Black women, and many women experience hormonal or pelvic health concerns without access to clear information or supportive spaces to ask questions.

This gathering was created to open up honest conversations about women’s health, reduce stigma, and connect community members with trusted medical and wellness practitioners.

By bringing together education, lived experience, and community support, we hope to empower women with knowledge and resources that support long-term wellness.

Los fibromas afectan hasta al 80% de las mujeres Negras, y muchas mujeres enfrentan cambios hormonales o problemas de salud pélvica sin acceso a información clara o espacios seguros para hacer preguntas.
