Calling all Waitangi loving Wāhine!!!
Sunday 14th of September we are hosting our next social Women's Ride at the Waitangi MTB Park kicking off at 10am.
This is not a guided ride, it is more about facilitating a time for women to meet at the park, go for a spin and then meet back together at the end for socialising, coffee and cake. A great way to meet like-minded riders. All mountain bikes welcome, including electric bikes.
The ride you choose to do is completely up to you. You can either stick with a group that completes two to three uphill climbs, or else others may do a shorter or flatter ride, why not bring some mates, the more the merrier. You may want to even go for your own ride, returning by 12pm to catch up with everyone at the end.
All abilities welcome, we will split into groups depending on numbers and abilities but are planning on having a:
Grade 2 Easy flat ride
Grade 2 Easy with hills
Grade 3/4 Intermediate - Advanced ride.
Tell ya Mrs, Sister, Mum and Daughter to come out for a spin and meet us 10am at the car park.
Paihia Mountain Bikes offering $10 discount of all Women’s Ride bike hires, bookings essential.
Pikiniki Cafe will be open for delicious smoothies, lunch and treats afterwards or come earlier if you need your caffeine fix before we hit the trails.
