Ishtar is an international dancer, workshop leader and holistic practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working at the intersection of movement, spirituality and community.

She holds a BA in Applied Psychology and Women’s Studies and an MSc in Transpersonal Psychology, Consciousness and Spirituality, where her research focused on spiritual dance.

She has led workshops and performances across the UK, Europe and the US, specialising in Middle Eastern and Eastern dance traditions, goddess work and embodied ritual. As Environmental Director of Earth Moves, she integrates ecological awareness, permaculture principles and inclusive community practice into all her offerings.
