The day begins with breakfast and the keynote address by Kate Bowler, who will speak about her new book, "Joyful, Anyway." Kate’s keynote will set the tone for a conference that embraces joy, resilience, and meaning—even in life’s complicated seasons.

Following the keynote, participants will choose two breakout groups from a rich menu of offerings—one mid-morning and two afternoon seminars. They will explore themes such as prayer and presence, creativity and beauty, mental health, legacy, attention and technology, embodied spirituality, stillness, and spiritual practices for everyday life..

About Kate Bowler:
Kate Bowler is a New York Times bestselling author, award-winning podcast host, and associate professor of American religious history at Duke Divinity School whose work explores faith, suffering, joy, and the truths of human life with intelligence, honesty, and humor. She has a significant following for the faith and spirituality space, with 400,000+ followers.
She first gained wide recognition for her memoir "Everything Happens for a Reason: And Other Lies I’ve Loved," written after her own Stage IV cancer diagnosis, in which she challenges simplistic faith-answers and offers a deeply human, compassionate view of hope and resilience. Kate also hosts the popular podcast “Everything Happens,” where she talks with guests about how they navigate life’s hard questions, and she writes and speaks widely on how to find meaning and joy even amid uncertainty and pain.
