Join the Islamic Society of Akron and Kent (ISAK), the Women’s Interfaith Spiritual Heritage (WISH), the Akron Area Interfaith Council (AAIC), and Akron Masjid for a community dialogue exploring the truths and dispelling myths about women in Islam! This dialogue is only open to women and girls ages 14+. This event empowers Muslim women to freely and authentically share what practicing Islam means to them. It offers others a chance to gain a deeper understanding of their practices, ask questions, and learn about the significant role women play in Islam, all while challenging common misconceptions. Join us in changing the oppressive narrative often portrayed about Muslim women in Western society!
