WomenWrite 2025: An MCL Writing Retreat

We're so excited to welcome you back to our refreshing, intimate writing-retreat experience! BONUS: Friday evening's "Prologue" will feature snacks, a meaningful writing exercise, and time to get to know fellow writers the night before the main event. (You can purchase an "Unabridged" ticket for the whole retreat, or a ticket for Saturday only.)

START / END TIMES:

• Friday: 6-8 p.m.
• Saturday: Check in at 9 a.m., start at 9:30, end at 4 p.m.

ABOUT SHIRLEY CROWDER:

Shirley Crowder is an award-winning author, with several of her articles appearing in “Paper Pulpit” in the Faith section of The Gadsden Times. She has been published in David C. Cook, Student Life, and Woman’s Missionary Union publications, TheAddictionConnection.com, InspiredPrompt.com, and JenniferHallmark.com. She is published as an author, co-author, and contributing author of 15 published books.

On Friday night, Shirley will lead us through the process of crafting our own writing mission statement. On Saturday, she'll discuss how we can share our God story 500 words at a time via devotionals, blogs, and/or articles. Do you have a testimony to share, but not the call to publish it in book form - at least not yet? Maybe these short forms of writing are the best fit for you.
