#WomenWednesday: Laces & Libations - A Mixer for Memories

We had such a good time doing this event last year, so let's keep this love for women going! Please make strides in your favorite tennies with some purple to the best place to watch sports in Hayward - Straw Hat Pizza - for #WOMENWEDNESDAY!
We will network and enjoy a food and wine pairing to help raise funds to #EndAlz for the Alzheimer's Association. Ten dollars of your $30 food and wine pairing will go to Team One Busy Bee & their 7th year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. The 3-mile walk will take place at Bayfront Park near the Chase Center in San Francisco on October 24, 2026. Please join us to learn more, meet some amazing women and bring awareness to a disease that majorly effects women.
*Almost TWO-THIRDS of Americans living with Alzheimer's are women.
*Women in their 60s are more than TWICE AS LIKELY to develop Alzheimer's disease over the rest of their lives as they are to develop breast cancer.
*MORE THAN 60% of Alzheimer's and dementia caregivers are women.
More surprises are in development but it will be a special evening with you generous women. Please be sure to say hello and support Sonia, Owner of Straw Hat Pizza (@strawhathayward) and The Wine Shopper (@the_wine_shopper). She is a generous community member and can definitely style it up when she's not slingin' hot pizzas.
