Women’s Woodworking Night at SnoCo Makerspace

Third Thursdays | 6–8 PM | Free

Whether you've been woodworking for years, are just beginning, or have always wanted to learn but weren't sure where to start, you're invited to join us for Women's Woodworking Night at SnoCo Makerspace.

This free monthly gathering is designed to create a welcoming, approachable place to explore woodworking, meet other makers, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.

Hosts Britain and Jen will be working on their own woodworking projects throughout the evening and will be available to answer questions, share tips, talk through project ideas, help troubleshoot projects, and demonstrate tools or techniques when appropriate.

What can I do at Women's Woodworking Night?

You can:

• Ask questions about woodworking, tools, materials, or techniques• Bring an idea and talk through how you might build it• Watch informal demonstrations• Get feedback or troubleshooting help on a current project• Meet other makers• See what people are working on• Simply watch, listen, and learn

Do I need to be a SnoCo Makerspace member?

No! Visitors and prospective members are welcome.

Who is this event for?

Women's Woodworking Night was created to make woodworking more accessible and comfortable for women and others who may not have grown up around tools or who feel less at home in traditionally masculine shop environments.

All are welcome to attend.

No woodworking experience is required.

Please note

Women's Woodworking Night is an informal community gathering, not a structured woodworking class. Specific demonstrations may vary each month depending on attendee interests, current projects, and available volunteers.
