Sophia is the ancient gnostic goddess of wisdom. Join us in our talking circle as we share in women's words, wisdom, and spirituality. For October we will touch upon the significance of the New Year (Judaic New Year was in early October) in each of our lives.
Sophia: Wisdom Circle is a meeting of women where each has a chance to speak her truth in a safe place, without interruption or cross talk. In circle we show up as our authentic, vulnerable selves to connect with each other. The connection is rich and rewarding, and healing. The circle is NOT therapy or support for a particular issue. The circle is free-form and co-creative.
The woman holding the talking stick passes it to the next one when she is finished speaking. Time allowed to each woman might be limited depending on the number of participants. Everything spoken is confidential to the participants. General discussion and other supportive activity follows the talking circle, time permitting.
Energy exchange $5 gratefully accepted.
Fourth Monday of each month.
Additional activities may include readings, presentations, discussions, meditation, videos, or something else - AFTER everyone has had a chance to talk!
