Give yourself permission to pause, recharge and enjoy a nurturing afternoon dedicated to your health and wellbeing.
Restorative yoga with Alison
Alison will guide you through a slow and deeply relaxing restorative yoga practice.
Using blocks, blankets and bolsters, your body will be fully supported as you rest in simple poses for three to five minutes. This gentle practice can help to calm an overactive mind, reduce physical tension and prepare the body for deeper rest.
Restorative yoga may help to:
• Reduce stress and encourage relaxation
• Calm the nervous system
• Support better sleep
• Gently release and rehydrate the fascia
• Ease long-held tension within the body
The practice is accessible and suitable for all ages, body types and levels of fitness or flexibility.
Gong bath with Annie
After your restorative practice, settle back and enjoy a deeply soothing gong bath led by Annie from Ground, Sound, Grow.
Get comfortable and allow the sounds and vibrations of the gong to wash over you. This immersive experience offers an opportunity to become still, quieten the mind and enter a state of deep relaxation.
Afternoon tea
Complete your Retreat with a wholesome afternoon tea, lovingly prepared by Miriam in her River Ayr Retreats kitchen.
Enjoy a selection of savoury and sweet treats along with a choice of herbal tea.
Gluten free, refined sugar free and dairy free.
No previous yoga or gong-bath experience is needed. Everything will be provided, so simply come along, get comfortable and enjoy an afternoon created especially for you.
