Spring Social Round Robin & Social TennisSATURDAY 4 OCTOBER 12.30 - 3.30pm
Open to Women 18 years of age and above
COST: $10 Non-Club Members; $5 Club Members; Access code 3777 (cash on the day or EFT
CLOSING DATE: Please email [email protected] by LUNCHTIME THURSDAY 2 October to enter for this event. (Partners for the Round Robin will be allocated with a view to having 2 or 3 graded groups)
FORMAT DOUBLES (depending on numbers):
3 (or 4) sets with short deuce, 7-point advantage tie-breaker at 6-6 OR
FAST-4: 1st pair to 4 games; 7-point advantage tie-breaker at 3-3
SOCIAL TENNIS: One court for self-organised social tennis from 12.30-2.30pm
BALL MACHINE: Ball machine for people to try out if a court is available.
REFRESHMENTS: Please bring something to share following play at 3.00pm
PRIZES (RR Winners; Lucky Door-players must be present for the draw to win): Neighbourhood Watch ACT has kindly donated drink bottles, hot/cold mugs, pens and key rings
Other prizes: jigsaw puzzles, wine and tennis balls.
