🚴♀️✨ Ladies, grab your bikes—it’s pie time! ✨🥧
Whether you’re new to gravel riding or love a good spin with great company, this is your chance to join a supportive crew for a fun adventure. We’ll cruise past stunning countryside, stop for a café treat, and of course, finish with the famous Sheffield pies!
It’s not about speed or who’s the fittest—just good vibes, shared laughs, and giving it a go. No one gets left behind, and we promise you’ll feel proud (and well-fed) at the finish line. 💚
💪 For the faster, fitter riders: we challenge you to ride in a harder gear so you’ll still get a solid workout, while enjoying the chance to socialize and support others along the way.
This ride will be weather-dependent – keep an eye out for updates closer to the day! 🌦️
Route:
From Sheffield we’ll head out towards White Cliffs, roll past Glen Tunnel, and continue on to Hororata where we’ll stop at the café to support local ☕🍰. From there we’ll ride through Colgate before making our way back to Sheffield—finishing with well-earned pies, of course! 🥧

📍 Meet: Sheffield School by9:45am (please leave gates and driveways clear)
🚴 Roll out: 10:00am sharp
📏 Distance: ~56 km
⛰️ Climbing: Just under 500 m
🛤️ Terrain: A mix of sealed roads and sweet gravel
🚵 Bikes: Gravel, MTB, or e-bike all welcome
🔦 What to bring: A rear red light if you have one, a spare tube, and some warm clothes for when we stop (or if the weather turns). Consider wearing brighter colors it makes it easier for the odd farm vehicle to spot us
Bring your legs, your laughs, and some pie money—this is one you won’t want to miss!
