This Womens Self Defense 8 week immersion course (8 weeks, 2x week on Monday and Wednesdays 6-7pm), is an introduction to self defense, violence prevention, and martial arts for self defense. We cover how to recognize and deter a predator, human trafficking, domestic abuse, bullying, and more. You will be trained what to do in dangerous situations as well as everyday situations where someone is making you feel uncomfortable, whether it be a "bad guy" or your peers, friends, family members, spouse/partner, your neighbor, coworkers, bosses, etc. You will learn deescalation techniques, and how to avoid situations. You will also be introduced to striking for self defense, grappling for self defense, how to use improvised weapons and self defense weapons, how to quickly get off the ground if someone puts you there or you fall, how to get out of common grabs and holds, and much much more.
Our programs have been designed and rebuilt over the years to give you the best experience possible with the most experienced experts in the field of women's self defense. Come join us and learn how to build confidence, resilience and self worth through self defense and martial arts.
First class of the 8 week course is free to attend. Limited spots available. 12-15 require an adult family member to sign up with them. College bound girls are FREE if an adult family member such as mom, or an aunt signs up with them. Wear comfortable gym style clothes, no jewelry, slip on shoes (we will be on the mats), and bring water.
