Womens Sacred Song Circle

The intention of this gathering is to create a healing space for women to gather as we connect with our voices and each other through uplifting song and chant.

All songs will be easy to learn, and be call and response, or lyrics will be provided. No singing experience is needed, and all voices are welcome!

If you have a simple, easy to learn song or chant you would like to lead with the group, we invite you to share it!

Parking & entering the property

• The address is 848 Cheltenham Rd, but the entrance to the house is on Exeter Place. Your GPS will bring you to Cheltenham Rd, however you will need to turn onto Exeter Place.
• Arrive early to find parking on the street in the area; please do not park in the driveway.
• Enter through the front door of the main house (up the stairs). We will be meeting on the covered deck (aka The OM) outside of the kitchen.

About the facilitators:

Niketa Canales is a drum maker, ceremonialist, teacher, and song carrier, and the founder of Sacred Rhythms Medicine Drum. Inspired by ancestral traditions of the Americas, she shares the medicine of rhythm, voice, and connection to the earth through crafting sacred medicine tools, guiding drum making, and holding song circles and community gatherings that awaken creativity, healing, and remembrance.

Michelle Anise is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, sound healer, and healing arts practitioner. She has been leading groups in singing and chanting since 2017, and provides a transformational space for personal growth and spiritual connection in all her offerings.
