About this Event
The 21st Frank K. Kelly Lecture on Humanity’s Future will take place at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara and will be delivered by Professor Richard Falk, one of the world’s leading scholars of international law and global governance. Hosted by the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, the lecture continues a long-standing tradition honoring the legacy of Frank K. Kelly by inviting distinguished voices to reflect on humanity’s most pressing challenges.
In this year’s lecture, Falk will examine the legal, moral, and political dimensions shaping humanity’s future amid war, nuclear danger, and global instability. Drawing on decades of scholarship and public service, including his work as UN Special Rapporteur, he will offer a critical perspective on nuclear weapons, human rights, and the responsibilities of global citizenship. Join us for an evening of serious reflection and dialogue on how a more just and peaceful world might still be achieved.
