Main Doors Open – 3:00pm • Presentation starts – 3:30pmThis presentation will cover the history of the blues from 1900 to 2026 and will include lots of musical examples. Different blues sub-genres we’ll listen to and discuss include acoustic blues, folk blues, blues rock, Chicago blues, New Orleans blues, piano blues, soul blues, West Coast blues, and double entendre blues.
This talk will be presented by Steve Daniels – Santa Barbara Blues Society’s President Emeritus.
