Women's Roundwood Timberframing Weekend

This weekend has been set aside specifically for our Women students to learn in an encouraging and in a peer supported environment.
Through this weekend intensive students will be introduced to the method of Round-Wood Timber Framing. This method of building utilizes local renewable resources and traditional skills to build everything from sheds to houses. Students will be learning how to layout, measure and cut mortise and tenon joints, learning about construction methods, raising techniques, in addition learning about the variety of tools including chainsaws, chainsaw mill and handtools. June 27 & 28 (Saturday & Sunday) 10 – 5pm
