Join us in Nottingham to celebrate the shortlists for this year’s Women’s Prize for Fiction and Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction.
About this Event

Waterstones Nottingham are excited to announce an evening to celebrate this year’s Women’s Prizes for Fiction and Non-Fiction shortlists, featuring recognised authors.

The 2026 Women’s Prize for Fiction longlist will be announced on 4 March, and the shortlist on 22 April. The 2026 Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction longlist will be announced on 11 February, and the shortlist on 25 March. Winners of both prizes will be revealed on 11 June.

Authors attending this evening will be announced in due course.

The Women’s Prize Trust is a registered charity, improving access to and appreciation of women’s writing for all readers, providing an awards platform that champions brilliant women writers and role models while nurturing a supportive, global community of readers and writers.

The Women’s Prize for Fiction is the biggest celebration of female creativity in the world. The Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in narrative non-fiction written by women.
