Join Happy Hiking Company for a women’s-only weekend adventure in the stunning Great Smoky Mountains National Park! This 2-day, 1-night intro to backpacking trip is perfect for anyone who’s curious about backpacking but not sure where to start.You’ll explore some of the most beautiful trails in the Smokies, learn the basics of backcountry camping, and enjoy time with a supportive group of women in the great outdoors. Happy Hiking Co. provides the food and most of the gear—just show up ready for adventure!
📅 When: Sept 2nd - 3rd
We’ll meet at 10am on Day 1 and wrap up by around 2pm the next day.
📍 Where:
We’ll meet at a trailhead within Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Due to permit restrictions, we can’t share the exact route until 25 days before the trip. All locations are within 2 hours of Asheville, and Bryson City is near several of our common routes—great for pre-trip lodging!
💰 Cost: $350 for the full trip
