Women's One-day Soul Creations Retreat
About this Event
Soul Creations Retreat
Join us for an inspiring in-person event at Fort Harrison State Park on September 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM (Eastern Time). Early-bird pricing just $99 through Sept 1, 2026.
This retreat offers a wonderful opportunity to connect and create in a beautiful natural setting and to support Ascension St. Vincent Foundation Cancer Art Therapy Mosaics. Don't miss out on this uplifting experience designed to nurture your soul and creativity!
At this one-day women's retreat, we focus on getting in touch with our selves, our bodies, and our creativity through yoga, journaling, meditation, and an intuitive art project.
Please bring a yoga mat and a notebook or journal, but everything this day is optional including the yoga and art project. Feel free to hang out and eat snacks all day if you like. All art supplies are included in your registration.
We’ll ease into our day with registration, some light refreshments, and a joyful Root to Rise and Shine 35-minute gentle yoga sequence, followed by 10 minute Savasana, perfect for beginners and veterans alike.
You are free to wander the wildflower path, sit under a tree, or scope out a trail while we prepare a delicious lunch.
After lunch, we’ll have a journaling activity to get the creative flow going and give you some time to explore your own unique creativity—perhaps the one you haven’t tapped into for a while—and expand our ideas of what it means to be creative.
Marcia leads a relaxing yin yoga session with meditation. If you want to share your insights we’ll have time for open discussuion on what creativity is and how we use it in everyday life.
Then, around 4:00, we’ll end the day with a creative project that’s simple and uniquely your own—one you won’t want to hide in a closet, one that will remind you of the precious goddess that you are.
We promise to help you get in touch with that creative part of yourself that maybe got buried years ago--and have fun doing it with a group of like-minded women.
Registration begins at 10:00 am in Rec Building 702. Just follow the signs once you're inside the park. There is a $6 entrance fee at the State Park Gate. Season passes accepted.
