Women’s Introduction to Handguns Course

The course will run $79.99 for this four-hour hands-on course. This will include all instruction, range time, targets, ammunition, firearms, and an additional ½ hour of range time to use at your convenience.

This course will focus on the following:
-Basic firearm safety
-Semi-automatic and revolver operations and parts
-Fundamentals of shooting, grip, stance, sight alignment and trigger control
-Range time with instructor (50rnds)
-Ammunition types
-Storage and carrying of firearm

This class starts in a classroom setting discussing the basic fundamentals listed above. Upon completion of the classroom portion, we will move to the firing range. At the range, students will receive a safety briefing and a quick review before showing off their marksmanship skills with a variety of handguns which will be provided. Students may bring their own handgun and ammunition to the range for use after class.
Fees for the class are $69.99 paid at time of registration. The facilities and Instructors are pre-paid so we cannot allow rescheduling or refunds. Please verify you can attend prior to signing up. This is a Ladies-Only class for women 18 years and older (exceptions to the age requirement must be cleared through the instructor prior to registration. Class size is limited to 8, sign up early. Walk-in seats are not guaranteed. Due to safety concerns, pregnant women are not allowed.

Items to bring: Ear & eye protection. Prescription eyeglasses will work, if needed eye and ear combo sets can be purchased at KYGUNCO.
