Our speaker, Layne Vitzhum, has worked in numerous capacities throughout her adult life. Most recently, she was a pastor in Chambersburg and Newburg and has now retired from full-time pastoral ministry. Following her husband's pastoral retirement as lead pastor of Messiah UMC, Layne and Pastor Bob relocated to Mount Wolf, PA, where they are six blocks from two of their nine grandchildren. Layne enjoys crafting, studying, and learning. She loves sunrises on the beach and sunsets from her back deck. She’s always up for meeting a girlfriend for breakfast or coffee. But most of all, Layne is in love with Jesus and loves sharing her faith with people. She’s delighted when she can help others take the next step on their faith journey.
