The Women’s Fellowship Group’s next “Books and Breakfast” gathering will be on Saturday, September 27 at 9:30 am. We are reading "Tom Lake," a novel by Ann Patchett.
"Tom Lake" is a meditation on youthful love, married love, and the lives parents have led before their children were born. Both hopeful and nostalgic, it explores what it means to be happy even when the world is falling apart. As in all of her novels, Ann Patchett combines compelling narrative artistry with piercing insights into family dynamics.
The book can be borrowed from your local library or bought through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or other locations where books are sold. You should get and read the book on your own, and then we'll discuss it over breakfast. A light breakfast will be provided, but please bring your own beverage. We will meet at the church in the Conference Room.
