Women’s Carpentry Level 2 follows up our Intro to Carpentry Weekend, providing the next step in our Women’s Carpentry Learning Path.
In this weekend class students will be building a DIY wood miter saw stand, which is theirs to keep. involves framing with 2x4s, adding a plywood top incorporating mobile casters and fold-down wings for support. Key steps include cutting components (legs, rails, tops, supports), assembling the base frame, adding the saw platform, and attaching mobility features like wheels or hinges for wings.
Students must have completed our Intro to Carpentry Course. This course has a materials fee of $100, included in the cost of registration. Weekend class, Saturday & Sunday, 10 – 4pm. Choice of Dates in Drop Down Menu
