Women's bus driver career open days - Sherwood Bus Depot - Session 2

Discover whether this is the career for you at the Women Driving Transport Careers – Sherwood Depot Open Day. This women‑only, behind‑the‑scenes experience is designed to help you explore the role through a relaxed tour, conversations with our team, and a hands‑on opportunity to get behind the wheel with a qualified instructor.

During this session, you will:

• Tour the depot, see what facilities are available and how our operations work
• Meet real drivers, trainers and recruitment staff
• Learn about pay, training, rosters and job stability
• Ask questions in a relaxed, pressure‑free environment
• Drive a bus under supervision - no experience required

What to bring:

• Closed‑in flat shoes
• Your current Australian open or restricted driver licence which has been held for at least 3 years in total
• Water bottle and comfortable clothing

Age restrictions:

• Women aged 21+ holding a current Australian open (3 years) driver license. Not suitable for children

Meeting point:

• Depot entrance / sign‑in counter (signage will be displayed).
