About this Event
In this workshop
We will explore rhythm.
Rhythm is the heartbeat
Of a poem.
It sets the tone and sound and pace.
Think of rhythm as melody,
The words as notes.
The musicality as they
Drip from your mouth.
We will explore poems from the
Brilliant Kae Tempest
And Toria Garbutt.
How they stress and unstress,
How they utter the lines
As if they are moving.
It will be fun,
Full of laughter,
And you will come away with new techniques,
Rhythm in your poems
And a song in your heart.
Cost
This workshop is subsidised by Arts Council England. Please choose EITHER a free ticket OR a ticket+donation if you're able to support our Future Fund.
