A visual and interactive presentation that discusses the multifaceted contribution of women towards society.🤝 Join us to celebrate the women who shaped our community, an interactive presentation as part of a special International Women’s Day gathering honouring the remarkable women whose lives and contributions have shaped our local history and society.
Through archival photographs, documents, and stories from our community archives, this interactive visual presentation will highlight the diverse roles women have played in Esquimalt’s history.
Together, we will reflect on their legacy, share memories, and celebrate the ongoing journey of women’s empowerment and community building.
Esquimalt Municipal Archives and the Esquimalt Seniors Community Centre are pleased to present Dr. Dulma Karunarathna, Archivist at the Esquimalt Municipal Archives in this special presentation.
Lunch provided ($4 each): 12:00-1:00 p.m.
