Women Who Explore-NM: Sparkle into the New Year

Peak of the Party with ladies!!

EVENT DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY:  Join us for a fun, uplifting hike through the Organ Mountains (Soledad Day Use Area) beautiful landscape area, where glitter, sequins, and twinkle-worthy outfits are highly encouraged. We will be doing a side trail to a beautiful view point. We will be hiking anywhere from 2-4 miles in total. There will be about 400-800 feet of elevation gain (all depends on what they group is down for).

Wearing sparkles (sparkly tops or pants) isn’t just playful—it’s a reminder of the light we carry into the world. Each shimmer reflects the joy, kindness, and courage we bring to those around us. Whether you’re hiking with friends or making new ones along the trail, this is a celebration of community, connection, and letting your inner glow shine.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Good hiking boots
• Glittery clothes
• Day Pack
• Warm layers (beanie and gloves too)
• H2O to stay hydrated
• Snacks (to refuel your body)
• First aid kit
• Hand warmers

PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.****
