DATE/TIME OF EVENT: August 8, 2026 at 8:00 AM

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF EVENT: Join WWE: MO on a Centennial Sculpture Series Scavenger Hunt! We will meet at the Park Central Square in downtown Springfield to see the first sculpture. For those interested, the Women’s World: Shop, Sip, Relax, Mingle & More will be open from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Shrine Mosque, 601 E. St. Louis St. Shop over 60 vendors in air conditioning. Admission is free.

Explore Springfield’s Route 66 story with the Centennial Sculpture Series, a self-guided experience that takes you to unique Route 66 sculptures across the city. Check in at each stop using GPS, earn points as you go, and turn them in for rewards along the way. It’s an easy, fun way to see more of Springfield while connecting with the history of the Mother Road.

Springfield’s story as the Birthplace of Route 66 has come to life in a bold, colorful way. Across the city, sixteen larger-than-life sculptures have turned everyday spaces into can’t-miss stops, with each one celebrating the history, creativity and community that define the Mother Road. There is a free, interactive digital pass that lets you check in, earn points and collect prizes along the way. Sign up for the pass here: https://experience.springfieldmo.org/qr/UPTP4ZMTXN
