BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF EVENT: Join us for an evening of food, fun, and culture as we immerse ourselves in the 30th Annual Japanese Fall Festival at the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden. In addition to numerous vendor and artisan booths featuring wares authentic to Japanese culture, guests will enjoy the Nihon bunka taiken tent (Japanese culture experience tent), the omiyage and dagashi tents (souvenirs and snacks tents), and concessions. We will experience the Story Walk: Sadako’s Cranes and the Candlelight Walk and Wishing Lanterns at dusk. You can purchase a wishing lantern and set your dreams afloat on one of the koi ponds. Tickets are $10 and available at the gate only; cash or card accepted.

Due to local guidelines and regulations, Women Who Explore will be limiting the number of attendees per event. Each member attending the event will be required to register through Eventbrite.
In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sarah Girven directly!
** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**
By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by Women Who Explore which include:
• Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, exposed to or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days.
• Post-event: anyone who develops flu-like symptoms within 14 days after joining an event should contact the ambassador and Women Who Explore at [email protected].
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
