Celebrating Women Artists Across Decades | In Solidarity with Refugee Women in India
This Women’s Day, music meets purpose.
Women Unmuted is a special charity concert at Black Orchid celebrating iconic women artists across decades, performed by an all-women fronted lineup.
Headlining the evening is Chennai-based band Squirrels in the Attic, featuring:
Tim Elliot (Lead Guitar)
Gerard Joseph (Bass)
Anish Chacko (Keys)
Shyam Rao (Drums)
Sindhuja and Saira (Vocals)
Guest performers include: Aishvarrya Suresh and Nandita Sashidharan Known for their dynamic live sound and storytelling-driven performances, The band brings together rock, pop, and alternative classics with emotional depth and energy.
This charity concert is part of the 10-year milestone celebrations of Rethinking Refugees.
All proceeds will go directly to the Azadi Project, supporting Refugee women in India
The event will also be supported by two phenomenal Indie musicians - Tarini and Nitika Rajkumar
A night that celebrates the voices that shaped generations - while standing in solidarity with those still fighting to be heard.
