Join us for the inaugural Women United Brunch, a powerful gathering of women committed to strengthening children and families in our community.Hosted by United Way of Southeast Georgia, this special event will take place on Tuesday, April 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro.
At this special gathering, we will proudly honor Trish Tootle as the 2026 United Way Woman of the Year — a leader whose life of service embodies our theme: Strong Women. Strong Children. Strong Community.
At its heart, Women United exists to address children’s welfare, and this year, we are focusing our efforts on children's dental health. For many families in our community, access to dental treatment is simply out of reach. What may begin as a small cavity can quietly grow into constant pain, infection, and serious health complications.
Dental health is a powerful example of how one unmet need can affect every part of a child’s life. Untreated cavities can lead to chronic pain, missed school days, difficulty concentrating, and loss of confidence. But the bigger picture is this: children need access to healthcare, stable support systems, educational resources, and opportunities to grow.
Funds raised through this event will help address barriers impacting children and families — from healthcare access and basic needs to programs that promote healthy development and academic success.
