“Women Speak of Grandmothers” by Women’s Voices
About this Event
About the performance
On Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., the Institute of Musical Arts welcomes back our very own Storytellers, Women's Voices, in their performance of “Women Speak of Grandmothers”.
At the conclusion of a book-signing event, the book author recognizes September as "Grandparent’s Month", and shares a story about her grandmother. This inspires four of her long-term friends to share personal, sentimental stories about their own grandmothers.
The show's performance features storytellers:
Martine Brousse, Laura Duncan, Ife Keller, Johna Madigan and Carrie Tyler
We’d love to have you enjoy an afternoon of great entertainment. As is our custom at the Institute of Musical Arts, a delicious reception will follow the performance. Ours is a small, intimate theater, and seating is limited, so please, purchase your seats today through Eventbrite: https://womenspeakofgrandmothers.eventbrite.com
