About this Event
Women Say Stuff is a long-running poetry and spoken word open mic, celebrating International Women’s Day.
On Sunday 8 th March 2026, we’ll be celebrating at Middle Street Resource Centre (NG9 2AR) and via zoom, from 3pm-5:30pm, and we’d love you to join us!
We’ll have special guest performances from Davina Songbird and Elvire Roberts, plus an open mic open to all women (trans inclusive).
Women Say Stuff is a hybrid event, which means you can join us in person or online, and share your work in the room or on zoom! Open mic sign up will be at the start of the event for both venue and zoom participants.
Or you can join us to listen – our audience is open to all genders!
All proceeds from this year’s event go to Imara, a Nottingham-based charity that supports children and young people who are survivors of sexual abuse.
This is a ticketed event, so please book your place in advance.
This event may sell out. So, please select your ticket carefully. Tickets are not transferable between the Middle Street venue and zoom online. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE THE CORRECT TICKET WHEN BOOKING.
We’ll also be selling our brand-new Women Say Stuff Anthology at this year’s event, featuring poems from women who have performed with us over the last ten years. It’s a fantastic collection of work, so make sure you join us to get hold of your copy!
