WOMEN RISING Valentine's Day Women's Circle

Valentine’s Day is sold on the idea of romantic love, of being ‘in-love’ with someone other than yourself.

But…

LoVE is love, right?

So, how about celebrating all of LoVE?

Celebrating being ‘in-love’ with yourself instead?

The love-of-self; the love of being (a woman) - playful, passionate, joyful, unique & beautiful.

“Love is who you are. It is what you are made of. It is what you are here to be, to give and receive in abundant and ecstatic flow.”

This circle is an invitation to turn our love towards ourselves and celebrate who we are as individual’s and as women, together. Reconnecting to a Divine part of ourselves so easily forgotten - our Aphrodite within!

“Aphrodite’s gift to every women is a sacred reminder: that you are worthy of self, romantic, and Divine love, as you are the very source of love itself”

During this 2 hour session we will explore our own ideas about love, self-love and self-care. Through the use of playful practice & meditation, we will access and honour the Divine Goddess within each one of us; by nourishing our minds, bodies and spirits and celebrating her through dance and song.

We will leave this circle replenished and reignited with self-worth and value, ready to step forward to begin to build the life we desire and deserve.

Why we sit in circle:

In ancient times we sat together; we imparted our wisdom down the generational lines and we didn’t forget ourselves or apologise for who we were. We were given sacred space to practice and share (through vulnerability and exploration) what we held within us. This made us strong, this kept the blood lines and the wisdom flowing and allowed us to grow together.

This circle is an invitation to access that deep wisdom and knowing, an invitation to practice accessing these gifts and experiencing and sharing these with our sisters; holding, guiding and championing each other.
