Women only - Sunset at the Secret Beach - 3 miles

Join us for a women-only sunset walk from Cowes through quiet suburbs to Gurnard’s secret beach. Watch the sky glow over the Solent, then return at dusk, walking by the shoreline and listening to the waves in calm, supportive company.

As evening settles, we’ll begin our walk from the quieter suburbs of Cowes, gradually leaving the busier streets behind as we make our way towards Gurnard’s “secret” beach. This women-only walk is designed to create a relaxed and supportive space where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy gentle movement in good company. We’ll arrive in time to watch the sunset over the Solent and as dusk falls, we’ll begin our return along the shoreline, walking together in the fading light, listening to the rhythm of the waves and feeling the calm that comes at the end of the day. This is a gentle, social walk, no special experience required. Please wear suitable footwear for pavements and uneven coastal paths, and bring a layer for the cooler evening air. You may wish to bring a small drink or something to sit on while we pause at the beach.

Pace of Walk: Gentle - This walk will follow a gentle pace.

Walk grade: Fairly Easy - Gentle, rolling landscape, walking on paths with good to average surfaces. Some walking on gentle inclines, some stiles or steps to be expected en route.

Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind
