We’ll hike to Springer Mountain, the iconic starting point of the Appalachian Trail, and enjoy beautiful forested trails, meaningful miles, and a mix of backcountry camping and comfortable lodging. This trip is perfect for hikers who want a blend of adventure and a touch of comfort along the way.
Trip Details
📅 When: May 22nd - 24th
We’ll depart in the morning on Day 1 and wrap up around midday on Day 3.
📍 Where: North Georgia Mountains near Springer Mountain (meeting location provided to registered participants). Expect peaceful forest trails, historic landmarks, and a one-of-a-kind stay at the Hike Inn.
💰 Cost: $700– Includes gear, meals, lodging at the Hike Inn, and guided support throughout the trip.
What’s Included:
✔️ Food: Delicious, nourishing meals throughout the trip (including dinner and breakfast at the Hike Inn)
✔️ Gear: Backpacks, tents, hiking poles, and sleeping pads at no extra charge, plus all shared gear (stoves, water filters, first aid kits, etc.)
✔️ Lodging: One night backcountry camping + one night at the Len Foote Hike Inn
✔️ Guided Experience: A thoughtfully planned route, steady pacing, and support from an experienced guide
