Women on the Water Paddle with Sarasota Bay Estuary Program - July 17th, 2026

Join us Friday July 17th, 2026 for our next Women on the Water Paddle! We are excited to have Sarasota Bay Estuary Program join us on this paddle, launching from Ken Thompson Park. We will be stopping at Quick Point Nature Preserve where SBEP will talk about their role in our ecosystems and how we can help preserve our local areas. Quick Point Nature Preserve was one of Sarasota Bay Estuary Program's first restoration sites and ties into the continued work that the program does. SBEP will share, as well, the intreresting things about our ecosystem in that area. After the trip, you may opt in for a quick and easy walk through Bay Walk. SBEP has offered to show us their upcoming clean-up area in Bay Walk and planting that will take place the following day at their volunteered event (more info to come)!

Where: Ken Thompson Park Arrival Time: 7 am **Launching at: 7:30 am** (early launch to avoid the heat of the day)
Please call or stop by the store to register before it fills. Participants needing to rent a kayak have to fill out a waiver and pay by Monday July 13th.
