Join us for an evening about the ocean! Learn about local seafood, fishing, and the environment, and how these intersect with the food you eat in this documentary and discussion with the cast and filmmakers. We are going to screen .
tells the stories of six women in New Hampshire who have overcome personal and societal challenges to establish themselves in lobstering, oyster farming, tuna fishing, and seafood distribution on their own terms. Discover what independence, determination, and grit look like for women making a name for themselves on the water in the Granite State.
We are going to welcome the producer of and two of the fisherfolk behind the camera. You’ll have the chance to ask them your burning questions and dive deeper into the reality of life on the water.
