Women of Rodeo is an all women’s rodeo combining the thrilling women’s rodeo events of barrel racing and breakaway roping with the excitement of bronc and bull riding. “Women of Rodeo” is a competition for today’s cowgirls, who strive for excellence in the arena, and also serve as timekeepers, registration admins, pick up women, and promoters of the sport. Each year the Cow Palace honors women who have been significant contributors to the Cow Palace and rodeo in art, production, photography, equity, and promotion. Celebrate with us, the accomplishments of these athletes, and our commitment to ranching, ag education, and the Western lifestyle!
Schedule:
5PM Doors Open. Shopping, Dining, and Photo Ops. Visit the halls to see the exhibits of the Jr. Livestock Show champions
5PM - 6PM Cowgirl Happy Hour in the Round Up Room, everyone’s favorite hang out with specialty drinks, bites, and cool vintage neon
6PM RODEO TIME!
~ 8PM Rodeo Concludes. Finish up your shopping and pick up tickets for the Grand National Rodeo the following weekend!!
