Started in 2016, Women of Gero has showcased female musicians in Geraldton and the Midwest. Women of Gero gives the opportunity for these musicians to play in a safe and supportive space, with pro sound equipment and engineers.
The girls learn key elements of performance and learn more about the music industry as a whole. The girls also learn that their hard work pays off as each are given a set fee for their time.
This years event will be held at Blue Heelers Square and will feature 10 acts of varying experience. We have last years Battle of the Band winners Heading Home, an artist who recently launched her first album in Jay Gaynor. Up and coming teen sensations Layung, Aeva and Tobi will each be doing a set. And many more!
