Women of Faith and Grace - Q-Tip

We would like to invite you to the Women of Faith and Grace - Q-Tip event.

If you go into my bathroom, you will see an odd thing taped to my mirror. A Q-Tip with a blue ribbon tied in a bow around the middle. Weird, right?

Before I explain, let me tell you how the Q-tip came to be. In 1923, Leo Gerstenzang was watching his wife taking care of their baby. In order to clean out the baby's ears she was wrapping bits of cotton around a toothpick. Truly the mother of invention. Leo developed the first Q-tip from watching his wife!
Now back to my story. I don't remember how long ago I taught on my Q-tip, but I read or saw this and took it to heart. QTIP stands for Quit Taking It Personally! Sometimes we take offense or get hurt over things that have nothing to do with us. Maybe someone ignored us or we took something said or texted the wrong way. We don't take in to account our frame of mind at the time. Or that the other person may be dealing with something really distressing. So before we jump to a hurt conclusion, we need to step back and tell ourselves QTIP! Pray about it and let it go. We will feel so much better and we will be free in Christ.
