About this Event
As women / women of color, we encounter challenges in our workplaces, barriers to our leadership and power, and values that don't sit well with us. We operate within environments where assumptions are made about race, gender, and leadership. How do you - - or will you - - respond?
In this real-talk leadership symposium, we will hear from leaders who have met the moment. They used situations that challenged their authority and power to develop themselves -- as stronger and more clear in who they are, in what they stand for, and the missions they lead.
Join us for “Women Meeting the Moment: A Leadership Symposium for Challenging Times” to hear Tracie Hall, Distinguished Professor of Practice, University of Washington ischool, Tina Rameriz Moon, Senior Program Manager Healing & Resilience, Healthy Communities Foundation, and Nicole Robinson, Chief Executive Officer, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, on Monday, November 4, 3-6 pm CT at Impact House, 200 W. Madison, Chicago IL.
We’ll gather in community to talk about what it takes to sustain and grow our leadership, ourselves, our missions, and communities.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out [email protected].
We are excited for you to join us!
