About this Event
PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
Unpretentious, beginner-friendly wine tasting. If you are an expert, or really want to learn more about wine, this tasting is for you.
Join us for an evening wine tasting at The Company We Keep, a St. Clair West café and bottle shop hosted by Cailtin from The Living Vine. Caitlin will be showcasing wines from women owned & operated wineries around the world. We will taste and compare different grapes, each wine will be matched with a bite to show some complementary and some contrasting pairings.
The Living Vine is a modern wine importer that just celebrated 20 years. They work with a global community of biodynamic, organic and naturally made wines. They bring together growers and estates who treat farming as a long view. People who collaborate with nature to produce wines with depth, clarity and real identity.
The event will include a guided wine tasting and presentation on the backgrounds of each bottle, with an informal discussion and Q&A. The presented wine will be available for purchase by the glass, and bottles will be sold at a discount for you to take home. Both industry and non-industry folks are welcome to attend!
Tickets for the event are $45 online and $50 at the door. As our capacity is limited, we highly recommend booking a spot in advance, as spots will not be held for walk-ins if reservations fill up. One ticket acts as a cover fee for one person, and includes the wine tasting and snack pairings. Please reach out if you have any dietary restrictions. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase.
