Women in the Wild is a program designed to bring together women and, people from across the county, who are interested in learning more about outdoor recreational activities. Participants will learn useful skills from Park Rangers, guest speakers, and their fellow "women in the wild" while building a non-judgmental, beginner friendly community that will leave them feeling confident to take on the "wild" on their own.Session 5 will be "Ranger Led Day Hike." Rangers will lead a hike through Cliff Cave Park and discuss some of the common fears, mistakes and problems women face when taking part in outdoor recreation activities. This will be a 2 mile, intermediate level hike. This program would be great for a person who has some base level of fitness as well as some experience walking on uneven trails and hills.
