ScotRail is inviting women to a special careers event in Glasgow to learn more about what it’s like to be a train driver on Scotland’s Railway.
The event - taking place on Wednesday, 1 October, in ScotRail’s head office on Waterloo Street - will give attendees the chance to hear directly from female train drivers about their experiences, try out ScotRail’s in-house simulator, and learn about the recruitment process and training programme.
The career’s event is designed to encourage more women to consider a career in the driver’s cab, with the opportunity to ask questions, gain first-hand insight, and register interest in the role.
