Women in Politics Mixer: Celebrating 250 Years Our Way

About this Event

America has a problem… For too long, the contributions of women in political spaces have been ignored, and their safety has been an afterthought. As we near the 250th birthday of this nation, we’re convening to reflect on the contributions of women and celebrate all the women who keep our government safe, secure, and effective!

Join us to celebrate women across all political spaces - whether you are in college, Congress, or just a comrade, we want you in the room.

Her Rising is leading the charge to close the opportunity gap and help girls rise into leadership as policy innovators, and in every industry.

• Through our political advocacy arm, heraction.org, we’re advocating to end political violence against women on the national stage and in 10 competitive states.
• Our extensive Girls Who Lead (GWL) chapter network is activating college-aged women who are often left behind in the national political conversation.
• GWL Conference and event programming has reached more than 1,000 women and girls.

Now we’re launching our GOTV program to convert this activated base into civic participants who change the face of elected leadership.

Make a contribution by July 14th to help us sustain this fight. Support the women who support our democracy.

1. With a contribution of $250.00 or more we can give 10 young-women a ride to the polls this November.
2. With a contribution of $100.00 we can push 5 members of congress to introduce comprehensive anti-political violence legislation.
3. With a contribution of $50.00 we can sponsor one girl's attendance at our next Girls Who Lead conference.
