Women in Focus Summit 2025

Welcome to year two of our annual Women In Focus Summit! We are excited to host this year’s event at , a creative hub that perfectly aligns with our mission. Expect this year's summit to be bigger and more interactive, offering more opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.

Our goal is to make Women In Focus as sustainable as possible while still ensuring a fun and engaging experience. From eco-friendly materials to thoughtful event planning, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact without compromising on the experience. We encourage our attendees to bring their own water bottles or canned/bottled drinks of juice. While we do plan to have canned drinks on site, our goal is to minimize waste, so there will also be cups available for dispensable water.

The summit spans two days, offering community-building opportunities and hands-on learning experiences tailored to different skill levels.

After the screenings, don’t miss our short 20-minute panel, Shoots and Ladders: Expanding Horizons in Film. Industry professionals will share insights on diversifying your skill set, taking bold career leaps, and exploring unconventional film roles. We’ll end the evening with a fun mixer, where guests can enjoy a photobooth, a speed mixer, and a Dare & Share Wall. Plus, take part in a digital card exchange, where a Buzzfeed quiz will decide your card and connect you with others—keeping it all sustainable with digital activities.

We’ll dive into lighting techniques inspired by by Shotdeck, alongside camera workshops to help you elevate your craft. Led by experienced local Atlanta crew members from both union and non-union sets, these sessions provide valuable, real-world insights.
