Join Cerritos College Continuing Education for our ERiCA Apprenticeship Open House & Information Session and discover how apprenticeship can create a pathway toward hands-on training, career advancement, and becoming a skilled journeyworker.
The Equal Representation in Construction Apprenticeship (ERiCA) Grant is designed to help break barriers and expand opportunities for women, non-binary individuals, and historically underserved communities pursuing careers in the building trades.
At this Open House, you'll have an opportunity to:
- Learn what apprenticeship is and how it works
- Explore construction and building-trade career pathways
- Learn about Cerritos College apprenticeship programs
- Hear about the ERiCA Grant and available resources
- Meet members of the Cerritos College apprenticeship and Continuing Education teams
- Ask questions about getting started
- Connect with resources that can help you determine your next step
Who should attend?
Everyone interested in learning more is welcome, including:
- High school students exploring career options
- Parents and families
- Adult learners and career changers
- Women interested in construction careers
- Non-binary individuals
